리스팅, 가격 인텔, 지역 마켓플레이스 뷰를 위한 eBay Proxy
The best eBay proxy for search and sold-comp collection is rotating residential targeted at the TLD you study (from $1.68/GB). Keep Seller Hub on a separate static ISP IP. ebay.de from a US datacenter is not a German marketplace sample.

What is an eBay proxy?
An eBay proxy is a geo-matched residential exit for eBay search, item pages and sold listings. Pricing teams, MAP monitors and brand-protection crawlers use it so anti-bot sees a household IP in the right country.
Who an eBay proxy is for
A good fit
- Pricing and catalog teams collecting public comps
- Sellers isolating Hub from research crawls
- SEO teams tracking query ranking per TLD
- QA of localized listing and checkout flows
Not what we sell
- Shill bidding or feedback manipulation
- Account farms
- Scraping behind login at bot pace on the seller IP
- Pretending .com data is .de data
Which proxy type for which eBay job?
| Job | Network | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Search + sold-comp collection | Budget residential | Volume across TLDs, rotate on search |
| Local pickup / metro SERP | Premium residential | City targeting |
| Seller Hub / merchandising | ISP | Static login |
| App listing + checkout QA | Mobile | Carrier path |

Every eBay TLD is a different shop
ebay.com, ebay.de and ebay.co.uk do not share inventory, fees, search ranking or ads. An eBay proxy is how pricing, catalog and SEO teams sample the site a buyer in that TLD actually uses — including sold comps that only exist locally.
Search and sold comps at volume
Budget Residential is the workhorse: country targeting, rotate on search, sticky when you walk a listing → seller → sold history path. Premium Residential when local pickup or regional shipping changes the SERP inside a country. Seller Hub stays on ISP.
Seller tools vs buyer research
Never run a competitive-price crawl on the same IP as Seller Hub. A spike that looks like scraping can challenge the account you use to actually sell. Two sub-users, two reputations.
Not shill bidding
Bid manipulation, feedback farms and ban evasion are out. Public listing research, QA and isolated seller workspaces are in.
TLD, IP and site language have to agree
Do not hit ebay.de from a US datacenter and then argue about German shipping filters. Exit in DE (or the buyer country), send Accept-Language accordingly, and store the TLD on every row you export.
- One sub-user per TLD / country
- Sticky for listing detail paths
- Rotate for keyword grids
- Seller Hub on a different IP family
Typical eBay proxy setup
Budget Residential per eBay TLD, rotate on search, sticky on item→offer QA. Seller Hub on a dedicated ISP IP. Honour 429s; eBay’s bot management is not subtle.
- Residential sub-user per eBay TLD. country-DE for .de, country-US for .com, and so on.
- ISP for Seller Hub. Browser profile locked, no crawl credentials there.
- Sticky on listing walks. Search can rotate; a single item path should not.
- Backoff on robot checks. Slow down before you swap IPs.
Mistakes that poison eBay data
One crawl, every TLD
Split geos. Mixed cookies fabricate comps.
Hub and crawl together
You will checkpoint the seller account.
Datacenter for sold history
Challenge rate will dominate the runtime.
Ignoring local pickup
City targeting exists for this. Use it when the SERP is local.
eBay proxy — FAQ.
Can I scrape eBay with residential proxies?
Public listing pages, at a polite rate, for pricing and brand protection, yes. Aggressive harvesting that ignores robots and terms is on you — and against AUP if it is abusive.
Why do I still get blocked?
Wrong geo vs TLD, too much concurrency, or a datacenter leak. Align site, language and IP, then slow down.
Should sellers use rotating proxies?
No. Seller Hub wants a stable ISP IP. Use rotation only on a separate research user.
City targeting — useful on eBay?
Yes for local pickup and some shipping filters. Country is enough for national pricing grids.
Can I scrape eBay sold listings?
Public pages, politely, within eBay terms. We provide the exit, not a scraper, and we block abusive patterns.
Do I need a proxy to sell on eBay?
Only if you need a stable identity away from a shared NAT, or you isolate Hub from research. Most casual sellers do not.
Why do prices differ from what I see at home?
Wrong TLD, wrong IP country, or personalization. Align all three.
Mobile or residential for search?
Residential for desktop SERP intel. Mobile if you QA the app.
