Python proxies.

Point requests, httpx or aiohttp at the gateway. Country, session and OS flags live in the username. No SDK required.

requests (HTTP)

Replace GATEWAY, USER and PASS with the values from the dashboard generator. Port 7777 is HTTP CONNECT.

import requests

proxy = "http://USER-country-DE:PASS@GATEWAY:7777"
r = requests.get(
    "https://ip-api.com/json",
    proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy},
    timeout=20,
)
print(r.json())

httpx (HTTP/2)

httpx uses the same URL. For SOCKS5 install httpx[socks] and switch the scheme and port 1080.

import httpx

proxy = "http://USER-country-US:PASS@GATEWAY:7777"
with httpx.Client(proxy=proxy, timeout=20) as client:
    print(client.get("https://ip-api.com/json").json())

Sticky vs rotating

Omit a session flag and each request can exit a different IP. Add -session-XXXXXXXX (and optional -ttl-N minutes) when a login or pagination must stay on one exit.

FAQ

Do I need an API key in Python?

Not to route traffic. The gateway uses the proxy username and password. API keys are only for the REST account/generate endpoints.

SSL errors through the proxy?

Use HTTPS URLs as usual. The proxy tunnels CONNECT. If a site pins certificates, that is the target — not Bytedocks.
